"I wonder how this place ever sells a vehicle. My wife was shopping for a new car. My Mother and Father have always drove Volkswagons. So my thought was,she might like one. Traditionaly my parents are what was called in the auto industry a \"Lay Down\", they would go to there local dealership in B.C. go in the showroom and find a volkswagon they liked. They were not even out on the lot, in the actual showroom. The first salesman to approach them, they would ask how much is this car. They would then buy it for whatever the salesman said it was. I can remember my Father saying \"we'll take it\"imore than a few times as I was growing up. He continued this trend into his senior years. He never financed a vehicle, always paid cash and full price. \n\nMaybe this is the type of customer that Volkswagon dealerships are used to. My wife and I are different. We want to drive the vehicle and at least bargain a little. My wife liked the Tiguan and we wanted to know more about it and do a test drive. We were largley ignored by the staff and actually had to approach a salesperson and were told the price. The saleperson said that they had an appointment soon and could not help us, there was no offer to get additional help. A few more attempts with other sales people bore no fruit, so we decided to move on. It makes me wonder if most Volkswagon sales personal are waiting for someone like my parents to enter the dealership?\n\nIf you know the exact vehicle you want and want to pay full price, this may be the dealership for you, if you need to test drive and get some information, pass Fifth Ave Auto house up."^^ .
