"The 2 reviews below were under Not Recommended reviews which is at very bottom of page.\n\nAs these were reviews I had read too late I felt only right to repost.\n\nI Do need to let everyone know as I checked, If they don't show up, leave before seeing you or not see you, they Can Not charge Medicare!\nCan't speak for all But in our case I called Medicare to check!\n\nThere are some awesome agencies out there! Just need to do homework and find them.\n\nI agree with one of the posts shred the guy said: everyone has a bad day. I get that too But if you call someplace and speak to the same person and they always sound rude or aggressive or mean it's not just a bad day it's just maybe how they are so you need to move on :)\n\nPlease read the posts below\n\n\nRichard C.\n1 friend 1 review\n12/27/2017\n1.0 star rating\nExtremely poor service. First nurse showed up and did all the paperwork to get paid, took the blood pressure and left. Second nurse never showed up or gave a courtesy call. Third nurse was a also a no show after repeated calls to their office. Now waiting for our \"fourth\" nurse to show up. So far no luck. I'm sure they won't forget to be reimbursed for doing nothing in 4 appointments. Please don't sign up with them\n\n\n\nTony N.\n59 friends 1 review\n5/15/2017\n1.0 star rating\nThis is my first review. Normally I'm cool with places that have less than stellar service; people have bad days, things don't go right, etc. However, Horizon Home Health has had consistently bad service since the get go. \n\n1. The communication as to when home visits would start was never communicated after my family member was discharged from the hospital and assigned home health. The first visit was four days after they were discharged from the hospital. A nurse called at 8pm the night before the first visit, letting us know someone would show up to tend to my family member. Great, hope we didn't have anything planned that day...\n\n2. The second visit was a different home health nurse. They arrived 45 minutes late from the scheduled time and also didn't come with any supplies. Apparently the first nurse didn't complete paperwork and there was no work order filled for my family member, so no home health was performed and they did nothing but talk on their phone trying to understand the situation with their patient and office. \"Our system is updating...\" was the excuse. \n\n3. Staff is consistently late. 45 minutes tends to be the usual time they show up. Scheduled at 9, expect them at 10ish...maybe. \n\n4. Our insurance allotted us 7 home health visits, but they didn't show up at all for one, but still counted it towards the 7. They also counted the 2nd visit in which nothing was done for my family member in terms of providing health care. \n\n5. Trying to be discharged is a pain. There is no communication between their office and their field nurses. We received a phone call saying that we would be discharged, again, not receiving all of our allotted visits. Several times we've been called asking to schedule a home visit by other field nurses. \n\nIf you have the opportunity to go with another Home Health Care provider, do it."^^ . . "1"^^ . "1"^^ .
