My dad came here when he was a kid. I come here annually with my elderly grandmother, and that alone is worth the visit. I look forward to coming here when I come to Pittsburgh. When you walk in, you are hit with a bit of an old-school vibe, and I like that. I've tried the chocolate chip muffins, peanut butter brownies, nut roll, and cupcakes, and they were all decent. The pecan rolls: buttery, flaky, sweet, and everything they should be. Their donuts look amazing, but last time I went they were out by 10 AM, so maybe those are fantastic. The service is pretty good as well. Like I said, if you're looking for gourmet 5-star pastries, look elsewhere. But Bethel Bakery will always remain one of my favorites, if only for it's classic bakery charm."^^ . . . . "2013-08-01T00:00:00"^^ . "0"^^ . "0"^^ .
