"3"^^ . . "Rubbish! Complete RUBBISH! My hot water heater stopped working but is still under warranty through the manufacturer. I emailed them and surprisingly they called back within about 20 minutes. I explained to them the problem and they said that they would come by and check it out. They informed me there was a $49 fee, just for coming to my property and diagnosing the problem... a bit weird but they said it would be applied to any labor costs incurred. \n\nThe tech arrives and cuts the straps off the insulation we have wrapped on the water heater, looks at the model number, then pulls out his phone to determine if it's under warranty. He then confirms that it is and provides me with some info about Las Vegas water and the impact it has on water heaters and my plumbing (good to know). He then informs me that he has to make a call about pricing. Five minutes later he comes back and tells me that it'll be $394 and he doesn't even have the part... seriously... I've been without hot water for two days now... Plus, Hot Water Pros quoted $175 and they have the part in stock and on their technician's truck. \n\nI tell him that I won't pay more than Hot Water Pros and that if they are going to charge that much, I'll give my business to their competitors. He says okay and says he'll need the $49 then. \n\nIf a company is going to charge their customers for a chance to earn their business, they don't deserve it. \n\nDon't pay this company for them to attempt to earn your business, and unless this company becomes more customer focused, they won't last. I refused to pay the $49 and bid the technician farewell. \n\nI would like to add that the technician was nice and knowledgeable and they called when he was headed to my house. Furthermore the technician was punctual and arrived within the time quoted."^^ . . "2015-12-03T00:00:00"^^ . "1"^^ . "1"^^ . "11"^^ . .
