. . "So I have couple of different issues with WHASN but first let me say that aside from feeling like the doctors are literally shooing you out the door during your appointment I do feel MOST of the doctors are warm and knowledgeable. \n\n1st issue- last year during my pregnancy at the beginning of the year I went from an insured patient to a cash payment patient, I paid everything I owed at the time of the visits. I paid $2k in cash for my upcoming delivery. But 6 weeks before I gave birth I obtained insurance -and was told by MULTIPLE office staff that with the type of insurance I had that I would be getting a FULL refund for the delivery fee 8 weeks after my son was born. 8 weeks passes by and mind you I was adamant about keeping in contact with the billing department to get updates on the status of my refund as I was told by office staff to do so. So 8 weeks passes and still no refund and every time I call I get the run around. I eventually have to resort to getting firm and directly asking for phone numbers and emails of office managers to resolve this issue to find out why my refund is taking so long, because no one knew anything. So cut to the chase 3 months after my son is born I finally get told a check would be cut that day and I could pick it up. I go to pick it up and it is for $1000. How is this possible? I paid EVERYTHING in cash up until my insurance took over which covered everything. So how am I not getting my full $2k back?? The lady working in billing instead of going over everything with me hands me a stack of my billing papers and tells me I am welcome to go home and check against my records. Excuse me? I'm not a medical billing professional and the paperwork she gave me looks like a foreign language to me. So there goes $1000 dollars thanks WHASN! Mind you this is not the first billing discrepancy I've had. When I was a cash payment client I was told my account had a balance during one of my next visits which was NOT true, and luckily I had the receipt from my last visit in my wallet to prove the mess-up was on their end. Someone in the office had done the coding wrong. So I have no doubt they still owe me $1000. \n\n2nd issue- I cannot tell you how many times they have forgotten to send my prescriptions to my pharmacy, how many times I have called the nurses stations to try and get prescriptions changed where I DO NOT get a call back and I have even had a referral that never got sent that was for a skin cancer scare.\n\nI feel as if WHASN has too many patients that staff cannot accommodate their needs promptly and properly. Also when you are pregnant, especially as a first time mother you would like to feel like you can speak with your doctor without feeling like you are being rushed out the door. \n\nThe only reason I have stayed with WHASN is because the doctors have now done 2 surgeries on me (ectopic pregnancy tube removal and cesarean section) and the they are fantastic as far as medical needs are concerned. But the treatment and the feeling rushed like cattle is starting to not feel worth it. So honestly I'm going to start researching a different doctors office to go to."^^ . "0"^^ . "0"^^ . . "0"^^ .
