"1"^^ . "We've been to Due Forni many times over the last few years. It used to be our go-to pizza place but the last two times we've been, the food has been very bland and the service less than steller. We walked in and asked to sit outdoors but were told a large party had just left and it would be a 30 minite wait because they had to clean and set the outdoor area back up. So we agreed dining inside was better. We were seated in the bar area, at the table right next to the entrance (worst table in the house), despite the dining area being only half full and the tables more interior in the bar area being empty. But we decided to just go with it. About 10 minutes after being seated, we ordered and watched as a party of four came in, requested to sit outside, and were immediately taken outside and seated. WTH?? I was annoyed to say the least but we let it go. \n\nWe ordered the Margarita pizza and penne bolognese. When I've made bolognese at home, the sauce is rich, deep in favor and you know it's hours and hours of labor. This bolognese lacked that depth of flavor and tomatoeyness. The pizza was just plain awful. The crust had no discernable taste. None. I can't help but think they totally forgot to add salt. The sauce, too, was bland and was more like chunks of tomato taken from the can and thrown on the dough as opposed to a real pizza sauce. I don't know what's going on at Due Forni. After giving it another shot given our previous dining disaster, we won't be going back."^^ . . "2016-05-01T00:00:00"^^ . "2"^^ . . "1"^^ . "3"^^ . .
