Every single time they \"fixed\" it the steering wheel would begin to shake violently shortly after, making it impossible to drive without numbing your hands.\n\nAfter the first set of replacements began to shake the steering wheel we were told the struts were apparently faulty. They replaced them free of charge, great. Then the steering wheel began to shake again. The second set resulted in the same issue and when brought back the claim was they needed to be \"balanced.\" They had apparently solved the problem again, but not for more than a week. \n\nWe wanted to avoid more empty promises from Nationwide so we took the car to a second mechanic and the dealer to get more opinions. The struts were unheard of, the new mechanic couldn't trace where they had come from even provided all the information. This made us even more suspicious of the quality. The dealership noted that the car had not been balanced at all, despite Nationwide's claim to the contrary, and the front was over-tightened. The dealership replaced the struts and balanced it, obviously for more money but at least the car is in good condition again.\n\nTo top it off: When we came in to return the struts that Nationwide had installed they took them into the back room and then refused to give us our money back on the spot. We were told we had to wait for the manufacturer to accept the claim to refund Nationwide before we could see our money again. The entire time exclaiming how they were \"helping you out, by putting this claim in.\" I have never been to an establishment that operates on a return policy that is so self-serving. \n\nWhen we pushed to get our money back immediately we were yelled at and kicked out. \n\nNationwide then called us but only to explain that if we had just come back a fourth time everything would have been fixed. Apparently it's all our fault that they can't get it right the first three times."^^ . "2"^^ . . "2013-08-08T00:00:00"^^ .
