New one was finally working and replaced the original one on NOVEMBER 23, 2016--with NO THANKS to DVDyke for getting the replacement. Read on for details: I bought a brand new refrigerator at DVDyke, and it didn't work. No cooling, no ice, no freezer working. They insisted to come out and fix it, even though it was BRAND NEW. It should work when it comes to you. It didn't. So they came out and replaced all the boards about a week later--that should do it. It didn't. Same issues. I said I wanted it out and a new one. They said it would cost me 20% restocking fee. Really? For a new refrigerator that didn't work? They came out again, tried to fix it, then said, yes, they would call GE and open a ticket. GE called, was appalled that I had waited, and finally, on Wednesday before Thanksgiving, got a new refrigerator--too late to bring food in as it takes awhile to cool. But it worked. GE sent me a new one and took away the old one. I don't know what the deal is--I've had good result with DVDyke before--HOWEVER, my new item worked in the first place before. Customer Service people were tolerant but unwavering. Sales would just send me to customer service. This feels absolutely WRONG to treat your customers this way. I will never buy anything from them again because of this hassle."^^ . "1"^^ .
