"Great example of a company doing one thing extraordinary well resulting in extraordinarily delicious product. I was told by one of their Johnson & Wales trained staff that their recipe was created by a J&W professor/chef from Germany. These are not your ordinary donuts. No mixes and no squeeze and fry here, as seen at markets, state fairs, and, if you're lucky, donut chains. He explained the many steps involved in making one of their yeast donuts. I've tasted most of them and my favorites are Vanilla Bean and Maple (thick)Bacon (and the Cinnamon Bun).. I have noticed that they use quality ingredients: the chocolate in their frosting is delicious, their custard filling is homemade (try a Boston cr\u00E8me and compare it to DD's). No Oreos, M&M's, Butterfinger, canned jellies etc. Even their caramel squares are homemade. This is gem in a landscape of shops serving dense, prepackaged, cardboard products."^^ . . "0"^^ .
