Pedicure was fine, but the gel manicure was a rush job. The manicurist pointed out that my cuticles looked fine, so I \"didn't need\" a full manicure. Fine, I agreed that the cuticles looked OK, though I was skeptical about skipping the usual steps. So all she did was some light filing and paint. But I did get charged for a full manicure, even though I didn't \"need\" one. Seems unfair to me to pay for full service when that's not what I got. I noticed a few issues with the manicure right away, and they promptly corrected it by redoing a couple nails. That attention to detail impressed me and won me back a little, and I left feeling pretty good about things. Until I realized that the gel began lifting on the edges almost immediately, and after 5 days my nails looked so bad that I had to come back to get the gel removed. I stated repeatedly that it had only been 5 days and I was only having it removed because the gel was clearly not holding up. I pay extra for gel with the expectation that it's going to last, and it's hugely annoying to have to come back to get it removed so soon (who has time for that?). No one apologized for the inconvenience, and instead I was charged an additional $10 for gel removal. So in the end, I was charged for a full gel manicure when all I received was a sloppy paint job that didn't even last a week, and then I had to pay to get it removed less than a week later. Doesn't seem like great customer service to me, and I felt like I wasted a lot of money. Much as I want to like this place, especially given how new and large it is compared to some of the other options in the area, I'm really not sure I'll return again. And if I do, it certainly won't be for another gel mani."^^ . "0"^^ . "2"^^ . . "0"^^ . .
