"Towards the end of my vacation in Niagara, I drove all the way from there to come see the hotels near Pearson, since I had a early morning flight three days later. (I may be a little anal, but this event is good reason why I would do so.) Spoke to the front desk and booked a double room (for three days later, mind you). I specified my mother has vertigo and thus unable to stay above the third floor, and he said they should be able to accommodate. I come three days later, in the afternoon, to find the lobby filled with pageant girls. I go to claim my reservation and the front desk attendant, Tauris, very nonchalantly and rudely first ignores me while I stand in front of her, then snaps her face towards me. I explain to her about my reservation and she just chuckles. After her humourous moments she finallly asks my last name only to say she has \"no room for [me],\" nothing else. I tell her I came in person way before to make a reservation, and she just replies with 'I have pageant girls on the third floor and the second floor only has king bed rooms.\" Well, then why in the hell would the first guy I made the reservation with even hint there was a chance of getting a room on the second floor! Secondly, I don't care if it's the Queen coming to visit, each and every customer deserves equal and high quality service and regard. I ask for the manager (Kathy, I think was her name; some Scottish-sounding lady), and she writes me off quicker than Tauris. I pranced out and took my business down the street to the Hilton which, by the way, had a better rate, had great service and had top notch rooms. \n\nIf you have any integrity and have any pride, avoid this place. I normally do not do any bad reviews, or any at all for that matter, but this experience prompted me to do so only hours after the fact."^^ . . "0"^^ . "0"^^ . . . "2013-07-14T00:00:00"^^ . "1"^^ .
