I love the storytelling of the buildings history in the stairwell. I love the brass pole touch in the room ( a nod to Jilly's). I've been here 6 times now and 3 of those times weren't great. First time server forgot my drink. No big deal but when I reminded her she quickly apologized and then forgot it again. It was painful for both of us when I reminded the server a second time. The Overall service was slow and no checking in after the meal was served to see if we needed anything.\n\nThe second episode I waited 15 minutes before a server came to my table. \nToday I came in and I waited 10 minutes in the main lobby bar restaurant. There was 6-8 tables occupied ( everyone was having drinks it was by no means a lunch / breakfast rush) the two servers seemed engrossed in their own convo. Out of frustration I walked out and told the rest of my party who were about to meet me that we were going somewhere else. \n\nI truly want to love this place but it won't let me."^^ . "0"^^ .
