"Coming from a different perspective, I hosted a large party here which included a group of 60, including catering. \n\nIt was difficult to get a hold of the owner or a manager when booking. Email was the only means of communication they used from beginning to end. I was concerned throughout the process, but everything did fall into place in the end. Thank Jeebus.\n \nThe manager is extremely kind and accommodating in person, I wish we communicated once over the phone or in person before the or this reason.\nHe made sure everything we wanted was met.\n\nI ordered $300 worth of catering and the variety was there but the choices were more on the generic side. Like bean salad, cheese and bean burritos, chips and dip, cheese platter etc.\nIt would be unfair for me to complain, at least they had catering available and it is a brand new service they are offering too. As it stands, the food it's not bad but not great either, just the regular bar fare you'd expect.\n\nSo the night went smoothly in the intimate and smallish venue. A bar in front, good to fit maybe 70 people, and a dance floor in the back for more.\nThe tables and seating were sufficient to sit 30ish people, which was more than I anticipated. The food also came out right when when we arrived which was also a pleasant surprise. The music starts pumping around 11:30PM, which cuts conversations short and makes throats sore. \n\nOverall, everyone had a good time. The food was good but a bit generic and priced fine. The venue was free to book, which was a huge plus and made everything else seem so much better than it was.\nBut there really isn't anything to complain about, nothing pressing or requires any word of warning. The Ossington is a great bar that sticks to it's guns but is also willing to cater.\n\nI respect that and I think everyone also did that night."^^ . . .
