"Spent a gorgeous hour and half here on a beautiful Wednesday. They open at noon and right off the bat, there was a line up of cars. Don't let this scare you; the place is huge and the parking lot is too! \n\nThere is an admission fee ($7.50) which initially turned me off, but once I saw all the people wandering through the farm grabbing apples off of the trees and eating them, I realized they must do this to cover their ass. So I didn't feel bad when I also picked an apple to sample to see if I liked that kind. The rows are clearly labeled, and we were there the first day of ambrosias, which are sweet and delicious. The apples looked really small and so I assumed they'd be tart, but they were so juicy and sweet. \n\nYou can get a wagon ride out to where all the apples haven't been picked yet, this can be a bit of a boring waiting process but it is a fun ride. They didn't tell us when they'd be back to get us but it was about 40 minutes or so (next time I'd ask because it was a bit odd to wonder when they'd be back!). \n\nIt's not cheap ($20 for a big bag full) but it was certainly fun. Afterwards we visited the shop and the man gave me samples of their macintosh applemead and their raspberry hard cider (10%), both of which were sooo delicious!\n\nStaff here were super friendly and efficient.\n\nBig negative is that it's port-a-potty, no bathrooms, and they are really gross.
