. "VIBE \nPaulette's pops with its nostalgic fonts and bright turquoise and white decor. It's quite fancy for a take out spot. There is a pew out front if you want to sit and have your chicken. I wish there was a place to sit down or a counter where those stools are since there really isn't anywhere else to sit down and have chicken especially if you're commuting. If you are driving, you can take your chicken over to Withrow Park but it's a few blocks up. \nStaff are cute in their little tuxedo bows and old fashioned hats. They're friendly too. And thank goodness for some wet naps!\n\nTHE GOODS\nWell, that's pretty self explanatory. I got the snack pack with two pieces of fried chicken and some dots (mini doughnuts). The dots were good with some powder sugar and flavour. \n\nThe chicken was soft and moist and a bit greasy with it's skin. It didn't feel over fried. I think I wanted it more fried, to be honest! That maple chili glaze, though? I may or have may not drank out of the container. YUM! \n\nThat said, for $8 plus drink, I'm feeling that it's a bit overpriced. I wasn't totally filled afterwards and having another side for the $8 would have been worth more my dollar. But rent has to be paid. I get it. \n\nOBLIGATORY CATCHY REMARK \nIt's a great idea and perfect spillover from the Mercury Espresso crowd. So yeah, if you're looking for a thirty-something hipster, it's here. Chicken and doughnuts: get em while they're hot! But get a counter so at least those who are commuting can eat somewhere. But if I'm going all out for a doughnut? My heart belongs to Glory Hole."^^ . . . "3"^^ . "2012-07-15T00:00:00"^^ . "2"^^ . "1"^^ . "1"^^ .
