My immediate impression of this place was good, staff was friendly checking me in and my wait time wasn't very long. It wasn't until I actually went in the back and started all my tests that everything started going downhill. \n\nFirst of all, the tech who ran my tests was very nice, but I don't think she knew what she was doing. She immediately told me that I was a good candidate for LASIK because of the thickness of my corneas (which I would find out later that they're actually very thin, which actually makes a person INELIGIBLE for LASIK), so I'm starting to get exicted because I can get in and out in a few hours and healing time is minimal.\n\nWell lets fast forward about 30 minutes when the Optometrist.(NOT the surgeon whos going to be cutting my eyeballs open) comes in the room. We talk for about 25-30 minutes on my options as far as the PRK vs. LASIK and what each option potentially means for me based on the fact that my corneas are so paper thin. She proceeds to tell me that if I DID decide to continue with the surgery, that I could only do it once because of yes, my thin corneas. So she leaves and I'm once again sitting in the patient chair for about 30 more minutes until its my turn to talk to the \"manager/head of scheduling\" woman. Now here's where my GIANT complaint about this place comes into play. \n\nSo before I even get a chance to take a couple days and think about a prodecure that could potentially blind a person, this woman is in my face asking when I'm going to schedule and telling me about \"summer offers\" expiring and I should schedule quickly so I can get a \"great deal\" on the pricing. I'm sitting there still trying to figure out if I honestly want to do this and all she cares about is getting a card on file to save my appointment date. So I showed her the Groupon deal I found and she immediately scoffs at me telling me how the Groupon doesn't cover the lifetime \"touch ups\" that I could take advantage of if I ever needed a tweak on my vision. Apparently this woman didn't consult with the Optometrist that I had just spoken with because shes trying to sell me on insurance and touch ups that I can't even have because I can only get the procedure done ONCE. I'm immediately turned off by the whole experience and lack of professionalism, and tell her that I need some time to think it over and if the surgeon who will actually be performing the procedure can call me, it might help me persuade me to get it done. She PROMISES me that he will call me but he never did. She however had the Optometrist (who I already talked to) waste her time leaving me a voicemail, as well as leaving countless herself. I understand this is a business but this is a business where a patients comfort and trust should come before a dollar sign. I would never recommend this place to anyone considering LASIK or any other surgery."^^ . . . "0"^^ . "0"^^ . "2016-07-05T00:00:00"^^ . .
