"Queso fundido has got to be the best thing I've eaten in phoenix. \n\nI was stuck in the area for a full two hours at around 1pm and decided to have lunch at walking distance from the endodontist I had an appointment with. \n\nIt was hard to find the entrance, and almost gave up. Hint: it's on the back parking, right next to an old car husk. \n\nOnce inside I was the only brown person, including the staff, which felt odd but I kept going. Walked to my table in the deep part of the semi-huge building (it's not a warehouse but it's very nicely divided to give you a sense of spaciousness) and sat next to a fountain with tons of silk flowers instead of water. Why am I telling you all these details? Because... It's how this food is best described. It looks strange, and like it may not work. But once you experience it, the whole thing clicks and takes you, not to the same boring Fauxican food taco bell, but to a place where flour tortilla chips marry an almost sweet salsa (with black olives!!!), right before the entr\u00E9e chicken melts along with all the cheesyness around it and yet their house made of a chimichanga shell (complete with a fideo backyard) remains crunchy and soft and expertly seasoned in all the right places. \n\nPeople seem to love working here, and why wouldn't they? They work in the Disneyland of magical Mexican food."^^ . . "2016-05-30T00:00:00"^^ . "5"^^ . . "1"^^ .
