I chose the latter and was greeted and given my choice of tables. An olive spread and fresh bread were brought immediately. \n\nI ordered the Bolognese, with spaghetti rather than penne. It was very, very good. I especially like that it was brought hot from the kitchen with the pasta a dente. The pasta was neither thick nor thin -- an excellent medium thickness. My only complaint was that the onions in the house salad were rather strong.\n\nThe chef made rounds of the tables during my stay. Nice touch.\n\nThe waitress provided excellent service, checking after a few minutes each on the drink, salad, and entr\u00E9e to ensure that they were satisfactory.
