"Recently in the beginning of November I was admitted to Banner Thunderbird. During my stay the hospital was monitoring my blood levels because I take blood thinners. I was refused my medication by Dr Christopher Lang. For some reason he was pushing 2 other medications that were name brand. My assumption is that there are many incentives that Pharmacy companies give Doctors for using their products. I believe and the hospital did not deny that Dr Lang might be one of these Doctors who puts incentives, cash or otherwise instead of my well being . \n My blood levels are supposed to be between 2 and 3 and Dr Lang let me get down to a dangerous 1.3 and then refused to let me take my medication for my condition that I have been taking daily for the last 15 years. Instead Doctor Christopher Lang said to me\"Good luck with your blood clot\"\n\nCAN YOU BELIEVE HOW RUDE AND SELFISH THIS DOCTOR IS. MY HEALTH WAS NOT A WORRY TO HIM JUST THE $422.00 HE GOT PAID FOR 10 MINUTES OF VERBAL ABUSE.\n So after 1.25 months of attempting to get an answer from the staff in the Department I was in I followed the chain of command. I think Staff at Banner must go through a class on how to make a patient feel uncomfortable and inconvenienced. They have a grievence policy but when the people call you to investigate all they want to do is tell you they did everything right and why I am wrong. They didn't even ask me about Dr Lang and the incident where he denied me my medication when I was at a very dangerous level and could of had a stroke.\n\nBanner Thunderbird Staff that I have dealt with are very defensive. When I go to a hospital I hope I am getting an employee who wants to be there to help people not to make their life less enjoyable. \n\nI STRONGLY URGE PEOPLE TO BEWARE OF BANNER THUNDERBIRD AND DR CHRISTOPHER LANG UNLESS YOU DON'T VALUE YOUR HEALTH.\n\nThank you"^^ . . .
