There were two shoots on two different days because I had a friend with a prop warehouse and some unique scenery on her property that I wanted to take advantage of. Overall, Victoria pays a lot of attention to lighting. Because I'm a graphic designer whose father is a retired photographer who came home exhausted from a lot of weddings he'd shot, I had expectations of something creative and different. It's hard work watching other people have fun and about half the time, the photographer doesn't get to eat at the reception. I had no worries about giving creative control to Victoria including some scenes I knew would involve a lot of Photoshop wizardry. The prop shoot happened a week before the ceremony. The excitement building up to the ceremony was peppered with small previews in my email box from what Victoria had shot the previous weekend. I barely noticed her at the ceremony (she's a ninja) and she captured a lot of moments from our small guest list that I otherwise would not have noticed. That is what the very best photographers capture-the special moments you might have seen from a distance or not at all. As active participants in your big day, there are a lot of of emotions stirring within and someone thoughtful who is paying attention who can capture the mood is priceless."^^ . "5"^^ . . . "1"^^ .
