"Prologue:\nI discovered this restaurant recently while surfing around on Yelp and bookmarked it after reading a couple of 5-star reviews.\nMy girlfriend and I were in the mood for a good burger this afternoon so we decided to give it a try.\n\nThe Plot:\nWe shared a single Chicago Burger, a single New York Burger, and an order of Chili Fries.\n\nThe Scene:\nThe portion sizes were good and plenty for the two of us.\nOkay, so topping a burger with bright green relish, pickle, and cucumber and then calling it a Chicago Burger seems pretty obvious.\nThe same goes for topping a burger with pastrami and coleslaw and then calling it a New York Burger.\nHowever, what makes the real difference is how it's done and in this case both were done quite well.\nThe specialty ingredients nicely complimented the beef in both cases while still being reminiscent of their cities of origin.\nThe burgers themselves were tasty, juicy, and properly cooked on the flat top.\nThe other ingredients were also of good quality and properly prepared.\nMy girlfriend especially liked the balance of sweet and savory in the New York Burger.\nWe also liked the fact that the seasoned Chili Fries stood up well enough on their own and didn't need to be covered in cheese in order to taste good.\n\nThe Rest of the Story:\nMy girlfriend thought there was a bit too much mustard on the Chicago Burger and I had to agree that it somewhat overpowered the other flavors.\nIt also occurred to me that a split kosher hotdog cooked on the flat top would have been a nice addition to the Chicago Burger as the pastrami was for the New York Burger.\n\nEpilogue:\nPrompt, courteous service, reasonable prices.\nWe were both very satisfied with our meal.\nMy girlfriend, who is more discriminating that I am when it comes to burgers, remarked a couple of times that she thought the burgers were good and we'll quite likely return the next time she's in the mood for some.\n\nPhoto design by Billie Z."^^ .
