"This Spa is two blocks away from our house and while it lacks many of the typical Spa amenities like a Whirlpool or steam room we've always had very good experiences with the therapists and estheticians there. This visit scheduled a couples massage and after a rather un-relaxing welcome and request for payment from the spa manager Joni (surprising as she was exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable on the phone about what type of massage we should book) we were taken to our room. I had a deep tissue massage with Markus (amazing) and my husband had a regular Swedish with Magdalena and both were great I would give Markus 5 stars he took great Direction about the amount of pressure I needed and which spots I wanted him to focus on and which ones he could ignore, I will always request him. My husband would give Magdalena four stars, and plans to book a deep tissue with her next time. My husband signed the credit card receipt at the beginning not realizing 20% gratuity was already included (we always tip 20% anyway) but since I was dressed first I went out to check out (like nos\nT spas require you to do) and I left a $30 additional cash tip for each of the therapists not realizing it had already been added. I understand they offer a lot of discounts at this spa and unfortunately people don't always tip on the full amount but had the experience been not good I would have been disappointed having the gratuity already added. I didn't say anything because the service was great and $55 tip per therapist probably made their day but it's something the staff should try to make more clear"^^ . "0"^^ . . .
