"Update: beware, this apt complex has changed their name due to all the negative reviews. It is now called Cameron at Southpark, or something like that. First and foremost is DO NOT RENT ANYTHING MANAGED BY THE CONNOR GROUP!! \n\nWhen I first moved to Alexander Place, they were with a different management company. Maintenance was excellent and the grounds were well kept.\n\nThen I arrive home from work one day to find a notice on my door that a new management company would be taking over and multiple enhancements would be made to the property. Enter, The Connor Group and their con artist staff. Within a month, I could tell that was a big fat rouse. Every single one of the managers and maintenance crew from the previous company were fired and a new team brought in. The property started going downhill fast. It was Fall and no leaves were being removed from the parking lot or grounds. And believe me, this is a heavily wooded complex that needs DAILY attention. We were the only property on the entire street that had about 600 feet of debris piled 2 feet high along the curb fronting the complex. Trash was piling up by the so-called car wash station. The dumpster areas were constantly overflowing. Wow! I could go on and on. Things finally got better after multiple residents complained.\n\nThen, issues arose when someone moved in below me that was a chain smoker. I was on the 3rd floor. With each cigarette he smoked, every bit came in through my vents. Nothing was more nauseating than to be awakened at 5am with the smell of a strangers cigarette smoke. \n\nThese places were cheaply built. The luxury upgrade sign is a joke. I mean really, it is a joke. The model may be the best unit in the complex.\n\nI lived out my lease and bought a home. Oh but they weren't done with me yet. They tried coming after me for additional monies for things such a nail holes where pictures were hung, fraying carpet, and dirty bathtub. I threatened to sue them and we came to a compromise.\n\nAs far as the staff. In general I had no real problems with them other than the move out fees dispute. I tend to believe the female staff members are more prone to being rude more to female clients than to male clients. You know, that constant female competitive, jealousy thing. I see it every day. \n\nAlso, Be aware of the extra charges they don't tell you about above the rent. An advertised 900/month will balloon into $1100 after fees, etc. \n\nAlexander Place is a pie hole. Remember, if it's managed by the Connor Group, run away as fast as you can."^^ . "1"^^ . . "0"^^ .
