The front desk manager and staff were rude and unprofessional and the service was overpriced and low quality. Overall, this was a very expensive, unpleasant experience. \n\nMy appointment was cancelled, twice. The first time, my appointment was cancelled one hour prior to my appointment, despite the salon having already confirmed the appointment the previous day. The salon left a voice message one hour in advance, but did not actually get in touch with me, and therefore I ended up arriving at the salon for my appointment, having not received the message. I requested a discount to be applied towards my rescheduled appointment for the next day and they agreed. \n\nThe next day, my rescheduled appointment was cancelled again, this time two hours in advance. I rescheduled again, for later that day, with a different, available stylist, whom unbeknownst to me, was less experienced. She was very friendly, but colored my hair significantly darker than requested, despite several pictures to indicate my desired color. Luckily, we went with a semi-permanent, rather than a permanent color. However, I was informed that the semi-perm color would last for about 2 months. It has been just over two weeks and I'm almost back to my original color. \n\nUpon checking out, the front desk manager rescinded the original offer of providing me with a discount due to the fact I had to be rescheduled with a different stylist. Furthermore, she informed me that I should be grateful that this stylist was willing to do my hair. Then, the receptionist tried to tell me that I actually was receiving a discount, as the service was performed by a less experienced, less qualified, and therefore less expensive stylist than whom I was originally scheduled with. \n\nWhen I inquired on the actual the price of my color service, I came to find out they were also charging me for a cut - despite having only received color service. \n\nThe website advertises prices starting at $95. Despite having short hair requiring one application of one semi-perm color, the price was around $140 - and that was for one of the \"less expensive stylists\". \n\nIn the future, I will go to one of the other hundreds of salons who will also be willing to do my hair and accept my money."^^ .
