Instead, they charged me for a glasses exam (I already have a pair of glasses in the right prescription), told me it would be another $50 for a contact prescription exam, and told me that I had to wait 3 months before I could even get this prescription because of an eye procedure I had done over 3 years ago (and I've been wearing contacts in those three years since). I've worn contacts for the last decade, but they told me I needed a \"fitting\" and that I could get trial contacts. I wear the two week disposables that you can purchase through 1-800-contacts with a prescription and have so for a long time; I don't need trial contacts. Going for the eye exam was a financial splurge for me (I had to choose between them and the dentist) and now I feel like I've been ripped off and charged for something I didn't even want or ask for. No one apologized, no concessions were offered and it is clear to me that they do not care about their customers at all. They just wanted to sell me an over-priced pair of glasses."^^ . "1"^^ . . .
