My front yard had a leak somewhere cause my boxes were filled with water and leaked into the front yard. I called my home insurance company and they sent these people out. \nI don't remember the name of the guy that came out, but he spoke with my mom (who is NOT the owner of the house- by the way, I am) and started work, saying he needed to replace the main line and the cost would be well over 2K, which seemed excessive considering my internet search for similar problems earlier that yielded about $800 price range, he said the price was so high because of labor when asked again why it was so high. As he worked, he told my mom he was former druggie and that he had a gun on him, so obviously not someone that should work with the public. I think he was fired soon after, but that's hardly the point. \nHe left me with a receipt that I couldn't read and that said the price with no breakdown of why it was the price it was, so I asked the owner/manager, whatever, to provide me a readable facsimile because I needed it to show social security anyway. Many weeks later I got it, and low and behold, the price breakdown consisted of a $1000 emergency fee. The plumber never once mentioned an emergency fee, and was very vague about why it so high, and every plumber I spoke to since said I was ripped off. So , needless to say, I will never in my life recommend this company for a first or second opinion ever again."^^ . . . "0"^^ .
