I called vortex doors, they came out same day a few hours later. They quoted us $218 on the phone, which was outrageous for 10 min of work, 3 bolts. I had to have someone fix it before the end of the day, not having time before we closed to get more quotes. I agreed to do it. Then 5 min later they said it was going to be $260 I about lost it, I asked how did it just jump up in price, then he started telling me all the things he was going to do to my door. I said i asked you to fix my threshold ONLY. He was going to adjust the tension on my door and replace some missing plates, which we NEVER asked for. I told him I only wanted him to fix what we asked him to repair. So he called his boss and they said they can do it for 30 min work, no parts where going to be used so itll be an easy job, they then quoted me $210.00, okay great.. not sure how $210 for 10 min of work is fair, but ok. \n\nGot my bill in they raised the price up again to $218, says per qoute on phone. Wow what a stand up company. I will never use them again, they over charge, and have terrible ethics."^^ .
