"I've been to most Urgent Care Extra's around town, but I was forced to come here once after having an allergic reaction to some food I ate nearby. \n\nThe wait time was atrocious, which I usually won't ding points for, but the staff was very unwelcoming and unproffesional. It's Urgent Care/Quick Care locations like this that have me pondering: Are these created to punish people who don't go to hospitals? I have never felt so uncomfortable in my life. This is my health, it's not like \"Oh the staff is rude here, but the food is good.\" NO, this is a healthcare establishment, caring for the patient and providing care to the patient are nearly hand-in-hand, therefore staff should not be rude and demeaning. If not for my throat swelling up I may have chosen to be more vocal. Then again why would you fight with someone who holds your life in their hands. \n\nUgh! Sorry for venting. Please read the main points below:\n\n1. Staff was obviously making fun of myself and the other patients in the lobby. They were giving looks, laughing, and speaking to each other in Spanish unless they were speaking directly to a patient (with a smug look on face and nastiness in voice).\n\n2. Dr. Frank (whatever his name is), was extremely unproffesional, reaked of cigarettes, and was texting on his phone while in the exam room with me. I didn't even realize he was the doctor until he left the room, and no one else came in... Really? Is this guy even a physician? He didn't really seem to know what was going on. He basically offered Bendaryl and told me to see my PCP. As I was being walked out to the lobby he was right there with another staff member, staring at me and talking to the other guy (younger, Hispanic) in Spanish, laughing. \n\nI'm never coming back here again. After paying (almost relieved to pay, just to get out of there) I immediately left and went to the ER. \n\nThe other Urgent Care Extra's by my house are totally fine, it's just this one location that disgusts me. \n\nI wonder about their hiring practices? I really don't think this man was qualified to be called a physician. Never again! \n\nSteer clear, if it's an emergency go to the ER or call 911. \n\nJ.G."^^ . . "0"^^ . "0"^^ .
