". ***EXCEPTION** the Sonora quest medical lab here rocks.\n\nYou WILL wait on hold for over 10 minutes pretty much no matter what. \nEveryone is confused about what's going on with patients. They can see your chart but maybe it's organized badly? I always get conflicting information that is interpreted wrong. \n\n You will never get in for a same day sick visit-- EVER. My son, husband or I have tried over 15 times to see a doctor for a same day sick visit over the past 2 years with absolutely no luck.\n\n The doctors are frequently on vacation or have extremely limited availability. The communication between the doctor and the medical assistant/staff is so confusing.. I\"m the patient and half the time I can't figure out what they want from me or why they are randomly calling. Messages are mixed up and contain wrong info. I was most recently told my prescription was declined because I hadn't been in since March- but the doctor had issued 12 refills from August; my most recent lab visit. So they basically just call and denied my additional refills as a mistake which is a big deal for something you CANNOT miss a day on.\n\nWhen I was ill after taking care of my husband earlier in the week with strep I called in on Friday morning to see if I could see the doctor. Par the course, of course not. I asked if it would be possible to just see a nurse for a strep test since I was exposed for several days and they diagnosed my husband. I was told the doctor on staff would be asked and I could expect a return call. Waited for hours....no call and I knew I was coming up on the weekend, so I called back and asked for a time frame. I was told I would definitely know before the end of the day if I could be seen by the nurse...and I was feeling worse by that point so I tried my best to let them know it was urgent and I was worried about the weekend.. Fast forward to end of the day and no call so I ended up at the Minute Clinic where I had strep and the flu.\n\n I did get a friendly call on Monday afternoon (even though they are open Saturday) that they could see me on Thursday of the next week..for the strep test. ha. I declined.\n\nTrying to cut ties here. Like a previous reviewer stated if you are perfectly healthy with no medications you may be fine here. But if you have any sort of health issue that needs management or expertise it's really not the place. They are really limited in their scope so expect to pay for a diagnostic visit, then some type of labs, then pay to see a specialist because they are unsure on what is going on even post labs, and then expect a followup visit with them before you get anywhere with medical concerns.\n\n\nI wish I hadn't gotten tangled up here. It's so hard to switch doctors."^^ . . . . "1"^^ . "1"^^ . "0"^^ . "2016-05-25T00:00:00"^^ . "0"^^ .
