It's the desert.\" She said, \"I like zoos. I wish there were a zoo there.\"\n\nWhen we got to Vegas, we needed a few more things to do during the day, so I Googled, \"Things to do in Las Vegas.\" Wouldn't you know it, up popped \"THE WILDLIFE HABITAT AT THE FLAMINGO.\" I told my mother, \"I was somewhat wrong. They have a wildlife habitat at one of the hotels here in Vegas, and it's free admission.\"\n\nI read to her that there were Chilean flamingos, ducks, Ibis, turtles, koi fish, swans, pelicans, parrots, and hummingbirds on a 15-acre habitat within the hotel.\n\nWe were all in, especially because it was free! We visited what I will refer to more as \"a tropical, foliage-filled garden,\" than a habitat, and saw everything described except the hummingbirds and the pelicans. It was beautiful and serene. You didn't even know you were in the middle of a metropolitan city while visiting the habitat. Waterfalls, streams, and ponds ran throughout the habitat where koi, turtles, ducks, and other exotic birds flourished.\n\nWe walked to an area where a woman was standing with her arms outstretched with several parrots sitting on arms and hands. A photographer was taking her pictures for sale.\n\nThere were benches to sit on along the walking trails so you could relax and take in the scenery and tranquility.\n\nI would highly recommend visiting THE WILDLIFE HABITAT AT THE FLAMINGO during your trip to Las Vegas."^^ .
