Due to flight delays, I ended up missing my pre-interview dinner social, so I walked over to Szechwan Palace from my hotel for dinner.\n\nI'm glad I did! There were a few other Chinese restaurants in this plaza as well. Szechwan Palace had an extensive menu (as expected), and I found it amusing that they even had a section in the back explicitly labeled \"Americanized Chinese Food.\" xD Definitely order the authentic stuff though!\n\nUnfortunately, my phone was not working so I don't have any photos of my food, but I had an amazing meal of sliced beef tendon appetizer and a fried intestines clay pot dish with bean sprouts. I went through several bowls of rice (also because I was starving), and still had leftovers.\n\nService was okay, but I also spoke Mandarin. Prices are reasonable, and portions are good. The interior of the restaurant is very nicely decorated, better than I expect for an authentic Chinese place, and there are plenty of seats. \n\nI also had fun exploring the Asian grocery in the same plaza after my meal.\n\nHIGHLY RECOMMEND, just make sure you can handle that Szechwan spice! ;)"^^ . . .
