"My Fiancé booked this place on 8-20-2017 with a coupon that offered complimentary dinner and breakfast along with our room purchase. I've never been to Mt. Charleston so I was excited for the experience.

The first thing I noticed was the ground outside is covered in duck shit. There are a bunch of ducks walking around (including ducklings). It's cute at first, but no one is cleaning up after them. Our wait to be seated In the restaurant was about 10 minutes even though it was dead. We walked on sticky carpet (you can hear it stick to your shoes) to our table and was served cold food and flat drinks Our lobster mac and cheese appetizer still wasn't ready by the time our entrées were served (we cancelled it when our meals arrived). Our server had to be asked twice to correctly apply our coupon to our bill and eventually had to flag down a different server to get it done right. Seriously bad dinner experience... but that's still not the worst part of our stay.

I was completely unable to sleep comfortably. I wasn't sure why but I assumed it was the temperature of the room. My lady likes it a little warmer than I prefer. While I tried to sleep I was bitten no less than 8 times on my right hand by some kind of insect in our room (203).
My hand is swollen to the point where I can't see my knuckles and it's itchy as hell. I did some research online and learned that it is most likely bed bugs or flea bites. I'm not surprised, especially since they allow pets in the rooms and already have proven to have low standards of cleanliness.

My fiancé and I decided to test our luck again in the restaurant and try the breakfast. Same lukewarm food. Same luke-warm service. While waiting in line to check out, I over heard the lady in front of me complaining about her say. It seems I'm not the only one who was disappointed.

The best part of this trip was the rainy morning that My Fiancé and I shared together in bed (before I realized it was infested).

This place needs to be bought out and gutted. It has so much potential for someone with vision who isn't afraid to spend money.

I will certainly NEVER come here again."^^ .
