. "I obtained my AA in Special Education from CSN; overall, it was an okay experience for me. The classes I took online challenged me and taught me how to manage my time, and the professors for the most part were very receptive and willing to help. Some of the classes I took on campus were great; professors like Prof. Christopher Columb (Biology) clearly care about their students success, and go above and beyond to help them succeed. Other professors could give a crap about who is attending their class... This college really needs to get on the ball when it comes to communicating with students; emails and phone calls go unanswered unless you practically beg and harass the faculty for answers. I can't tell you how many times I personally went in to change something about my major or current course of study, and still my requests fell upon deaf ears and blind eyes... Even when I formally submitted said requests in person, and in writing. Very disappointed with some of the negative attitudes and demeanors of some of the staff on campus, not just educators but the staff that work in various departments at CSN. Overall, I feel as if I received a decent education, because I put a lot of hard work and effort into my education. I made my time at CSN count, but if you are not able to navigate college life on your own, good luck. You may want to consider another school!"^^ . "0"^^ . "2015-09-04T00:00:00"^^ . "0"^^ . .
