"I am writing this review after numerous, not just one, bad experience after another handling my elderly mother's Cox Communication account. My parents had been long-time customers of Cox, and my father was the old-fashioned gentleman who handled all of the finances and bills. When my father passed away unexpectedly, Cox was right there to tell my mom that since her name was not on the account they would have to reset the account under her name and EVERYTHING would remain the same --- account numbers, the auto-pay payment account, the email address and password that my dad has established ----- OH, except for now that since they had \"grandfathered\" the package deal that my dad had gotten, my mom would not be eligible for that same rate and would have to pay a lot more for her services. Same services, same address, same auto-pay, same account number, but miraculously they could not keep her plan the same. Thanks a lot, Cox. What a classy organization you are. What a nice thing to do to an elderly woman who just lost her husband. \n\n So I talked to customer service, was transferred to customer retention, then to a supervisor, and then was told a manager is not available except for a callback in 2-3 days but that they would just tell me the same thing. Well, that's comforting. Thanks.\n\nAfter 2 1/2 years of having to call and ask for special deals to get my mom's rate down, I think I have had enough. This company customer service is terrible."^^ . . .
