But as I grow older, I find that my chances of securing one of those coveted reservations diminishes gradually. With that said, I decided to try the next best thing: a dinner reservation at Rao's, inside of Caesars Palace.\n\nOur group of 6 got a dinner reservation via OpenTable for July 4th. While the ambience & atmosphere of Rao's was very warm and welcoming, the food didn't blow me away like what I thought it would. The Chicken Caesar salad lacked originality and for almost $20, looked like one of those salads found in the MDR on a Norweigan Cruise Line. I ordered the Spaghetti Alla Bolognese. While the dish tasted fine (almost like Olive Garden quality), nor my nose or mouth was tantalized by the lukewarm dish that was served.\n\nI loved the interior decorations of the place and even the red door entrance looks like the mother ship restaurant in New York. Sadly I was disappointed by the food here, especially when I had ultra-high expectations for a chapter of Rao's. While I will hold out hope that someday I will receive that exclusive invitation to eat at Rao's in New York, I will avoid this Las Vegas location for the near future."^^ .
