"To catch your attention...this place has some outstanding food!\n\nSome friends invited me into their group of once a month dining at international restaurants in the Madison area. They had not been to an Indonesian restaurant, it was my month to pick and Bandung was our destination!\n\nBandung is not a large restaurant, but there is plenty of space. They have a bar area in which you can socialize, grab a drink, and even eat a meal is you so desire. We had a group of 14, so I picked a Monday night and made a reservation. When we arrived our table was set in place and they did not rush us from the bar area to sit, which is nice.\n\nThe food: fantastic. We all like to try something different (hence the group picking different nationalities each month for dining) and not a single person had even a minor complaint about the food. I ordered the Satay - Kambing which is skewered lamb marinated and grilled, topped with a sweet peanut sauce served on a bed of Indonesian rice cakes\n(lontong) witha side of cucumber salad (acar). It was all delicious. Not spicy at all, and not too sweet. I am not a big lamb person, but this was great. And the cucumber salad was amazing too. I did order the Lumpia (spring rolls) for an appetizer and they were okay, but not great. I know the person next to me got the Krakatau Shrimp and loved it as well.\n\nThe service: again great. With a party of 14, it is difficult to serve everyone at once, but they did a fine job getting us the food together and while it was still hot. Our drinks were consistently filled or re-ordered.\n\nI will be going back to Bandung some time and sooner versus later."^^ . "0"^^ . . "0"^^ . . "1"^^ . "4"^^ .
