I always thought it was where old white men went to watch the Illini lose every game. However, I was pleasantly surprised. This place is a hodgepodge bar: pool for the cool kids, actually alcohol for us AA dropouts, free peanuts and late night eats for the potheads, and respectable cocktails for middle aged women out on the town without their husbands. As a mixture of all of these, I don't show up until 1 or 2am and am always happy to try their awesome fried menu which is cheap (most less than $5) and served until 2am: fried broccoli, crapton of fried dumplings, or steak fries. If you need to watch your health, they also make really good flatbread pizzas. There is always seating because this place is huge including an outdoor patio area. Service is always great and I have honestly never gotten a drink that I disliked. Just for that, I upped my star to four. I believe in you Esquire. Thank you for not letting me down."^^ . "0"^^ .
