It's faster and cheaper than Charter. \n\nThat being said: WE STILL HAVE A CABLE IN OUR YARD!!!\n\nWhen they installed the fiber optic lines in October of 2017, they initially buried the cable. All was good for a week, and then the internet failed across the neighborhood. We were without internet for three full days before they finally fixed it. Their \"fix\" involved running a cable across our yard from the junction box to our house. They just left the cable laying across the lawn with a big mess of cables at the box attached to the house loosely looped around it. It's ridiculous.\n\nI have contacted them four times about it. The first time, they said they'd send someone right away--they never did. The next time, they told me the cable would have to stay because the ground was \"too cold\" to bury a cable. Then, I contacted them in March, but was told they would not do anything until May. I contacted them in May and got no response. So, I contacted them again and was told I was \"put on a list\" and the cable should be buried by the end of June. Meanwhile, I have to mow my yard with this stupid thing laying across the ground. I have to prop it up and out the way each week when I mow. It's a major hassle and an inconvenience I should not have to put up with. Do you think they offered me a few bucks off for my troubles?
