Whether it was plumbing or AC, I never felt totally comfortable when they were on site.\n\nThe straw that broke the camel's back was last year, when one of our properties had an AC go out in late June, and AMA was dispatched through HSA. It took them a total of 2 months to have everything fixed. They repeatedly sent out techs to try and repair it, and not only did it not work, they ended up breaking the other AC unit on site. \n\nWe eventually had to have another AC company come out through the home warranty, and they detailed everything AMA did wrong in the install. In addition to the technical work, the customer service was shoddy; I'd speak to different receptionists and each time I'd hear something different. Our tenant would be told one thing for scheduling and then they'd tell us something else. I still have all the notes on this. I've never had an AC repair take that long to get addressed. While I agree if a company makes a mistake, they should fix it, at what point do you just have to get a second company to get it done? In this case, apparently 2 months. This was partly an issue with the HSA home warranty, but don't get confused: This wouldn't have happened if AMA was better and could do the work right."^^ . . "12"^^ . "1"^^ .
