It wasn't perfect, but there certainly weren't the problems that some of the other reviewers experienced. Here are some strengths and weaknesses:\n\nStrengths:\n1. Location - very central, within walking distance to Old Montreal, the Palais-de-Congres, Sainte-Catherines shopping, Peel/Mountain, etc.\n2. Clean, spacious rooms with very comfortable beds. I slept well.\n3. Excellent wifi for free - fast enough for Netflix, and other streaming services.\n4. Nice lobby space and hotel restaurant. \n5. Nice gym with plenty of cardio equipment (although very light on the weight-training equipment).\n6. Nice pool and hot tub, with lifeguard present during regular hours (good for the kids). \n\nWeaknesses:\n1. Noise - since this is in the heart of downtown Montreal, there was plenty of city noise like sirens, construction. Bring ear plugs.\n2. Expensive parking ($28/day), although it was convenient with elevators going directly to underground parkade.\n\nOverall, a decent stay for our vacation!"^^ . "0"^^ .
