"WORST CAR SERVICE EVER\nMy son's Ford has been giving him some problems, so I googled the issue and discovered that the part was a recall item and that Ford will replace the LCM for free. On Monday I called our local Ford Dealer - Earnhardt Ford - and made an appointment to come in today. The nice lady went over the recall notice and said that parts and labor were covered and that it should only take a few hours to finish (never mind that various YouTube videos show it being completed in only 15 minutes - who am I to complain when it is a free fix)\nI show up today at 8:30, give them the keys and tell them that I will be waiting for it since it shouldn't take that long to replace the part. Time ticks away, I doze off, Obama issues 42 more executive orders and with no contact from my Service Manager I wonder up to the counter to see if it is all done - should be right, it's now 11? He informs me that they don't stock that part so they had to order it and that it wouldn't be there until 2pm. WHAT? Order the part??? Isn't that why I made an appointment on Monday so that the part would be here on Wednesday??? Nothing he can do, yadda, yadda, yadda, oh but I can use their free shuttle service at 1pm to go anywhere within a 10 mile radius of the dealer - big F*#king deal! That's great; drop me off at a real dealership please. You know what time they finished?? 2:30 (notice...half an hour after the part got there) AND then he offered me a complimentary exterior car wash for my troubles, fine...I am here already let's do it. How long could it take for Skippy to hose off the exterior and wipe it down with a shamwow? Silly me... ONE AND A HALF HOURS later I get my car back...WTF! I left this horrible excuse for a business - Earnhardt Ford of Chandler - seven and a half hours later for two things that should have taken 30 minutes tops.\nWhile I didn't buy the car from them - I bought it used - I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE! And that ain't no Bull!"^^ . . "2015-04-02T00:00:00"^^ . "1"^^ . . "0"^^ .
