Here the bread was plain bad, the butter blah, and in the vinegar/shallots sauce the shallots were...symbolic.\nI come from an oyster culture. My 85 year old grandma use to bycicle to the fish market once a week to get her dozen... so my judgement might be altered. Say if I was italian it felt pretty much to me as if a restaurant calling itself \"The Spaguetti guy\" took hours to bring you the pasta, and brought you scarce and bad grated cheddar at a luxury price!"^^ .
