"I have been a renter of a bungalow here for about 6 weeks and can't say anything negative about the place.\n\nThe first thing I will say is the Office staff while a bit eclectic bunch, they fit with the place, and have been extremely helpful in getting me through some tough transitional times as I have been relocating to Phoenix, and have been struggling with the home buying process.\n\nPlease don't give up on them upon walking in the door and being greeted by Carl. Carl is a very considerate person who will go way out of his way to help you... just don't be thrown off by his Back to the Future \"Doc Brown\" wild white hair style, It really threw me off the first time I walked in.\n\nThe rest of the staff is extremely helpful and eager to be accommodating, they just need to know your situation up front, and they will work with you. I called up on a \nSunday saying \"I need a fully furnished apartment to move to in a week, and stay only a month. They worked with that, and got me a great deal on a bungalow that is a great rental and then continue to work with me on a weekly arrangement as I am closing on my house.\n\nI don't hear neighbors, the bungalow stays cool, has great internet and cable access, the bungalows have gas stoves which I really liked, the furniture is in fitting with the style and feel of the rest of the place, its eclectic and colorful, like the people, and the residents that I have met, its just not my style, (keep in mind that when I needed more drawer space, Eric (the office manager), had a second dresser waiting in my room the next day when I got home from work, so the furniture statement is not a reflection on the staff or service they provide.\n\nI will confirm an earlier post, that there are no in-room laundry machines, so they have 2 laundry rooms with HE washers and Dryers. I admit, I've not had community laundry in a long time, but the walk to the laundry really isn't a bad thing, as the whole area has a park-like atmosphere, and full of green grass and trees everywhere. I actually forget I'm 5 minutes from downtown Phoenix..\n\nThis place is not the Ritz Carlton, and doesn't try to be, it has its own style one I think most of the residents appreciate. A definite recommendation."^^ . "4"^^ . "2012-05-12T00:00:00"^^ . .
