"It actually hurts my soul a little bit to pop this beautiful haunt into a 3 star range, but it must be done.\n\nLet me start off with: i've been a fiercely loyal fan of this place since I slipped into my very first Stop Staring dress and shimmied out the door. It's introduced me to my spirit animal dress line (Trashy Diva) and the first high heels to make it through a twelve hour power shift (RIP TUK cherry heels). \n\nIn fact, I make a point to visit this place whenever i'm remotely within striking distance. If i'm going to see the grandparents in Claresholm? Blame Betty has always been worth the hour drive. \n\nThe first time I wandered in here, the joint was being manned by one of the owners and the experience was a unicorns & rainbows level of awesome. Not only did I take home four dresses and a pair of shoes, but the service was incredible - she even stayed open late so we didn't have to rush. It was one of those beautiful customer service experiences that makes you a fan for life.\n\nWho knows, maybe it was those first few visits that make me expect so much more from this place, but in the last year - something has gone sideways.\n\nThey still have the most incredible selection and their prices are still fair but the last two times i've been in, the service has been \"meh\". \n\nMy last visit in particular just made me a little sad. Of the three ladies working, not one said hello when I arrived. They did set me up with a change room but then I was left to my own devices - no one checked in, no one poked their head in the back - so much so, that when I embarrassingly got the zipper on my OWN dress stuck, I had to run to the front with my dress half hanging off me to flag someone down to help. When we couldn't budge it, I was sent back to the change room to fuss over it. \n\nThankfully, with a little human pretzeling, I untangled myself a few minutes later and popped out, totally flustered but with two \"keeper\" dresses in hand. I poked around in front of the shoes for a few minutes, even poked my head out of the dressing room to try and catch someone's eye, but they were all chatting at the till and I didn't want to be the lady who shouts across the room. It was so disappointing that I left those two dresses and walked out the door.\n\nThis place has fabulous clothes and is well worth a stop in but the service experience went from this really amazing and approachable vibe to what feels like all in all not caring. I hoped this would be a one off but two visits, two months apart - same story. I still remain an avid fan but Blame Betty, you were much more fun when you weren't too cool for school."^^ . . "2"^^ .
