"Good Belgian waffles are hard to find!\nWith a name like Goed Eten, I was excited to have brunch here!\n\nWe wandered in and seated ourselves in a sunny spot at the front.\nIt's a cozy little spot with exposed red brick walls and a simple menu. There were several tables with small children... kids like waffles.\n\nThe Eggs Benedict waffle ($11) looked wonderful.\n\nThe waffle itself was light and airy, crispy, and chewy and served piping hot. The savory part of the meal was a poached egg, hollandaise sauce, and a piece of peameal bacon. \nI wish there were two eggs instead of one egg and the bacon was a bit skimpy. The sauce was a bit thin.\nThe slaw wasn't really my thing. Pickles and apples.\n\nI was pleased with my waffle! But, I was still really hungry after my breakfast.\n\nMy friend ordered the fruit waffle with syrup. It came with heaps of whipped cream and it looked pretty delicious. If I was into sweet breakfast, I'd order that.\n\nThis is a great spot for a light waffle breakfast! But don't come here if you're really hungry."^^ . . "3"^^ . . "1"^^ .
