"When my oldest daughter was 3 I did a ton of research to find the best preschool for her. I didn't want a day care, I didn't want a babysitter and I didn't want a stuffy militant school. I wanted a school that both taught and had fun.
Before I found TotSpot I had enrolled her at another nearby school and would sit at the one way mirror and watch my daughter in class. The children did worksheets and flashcards all day and never painted, played, sang or did any hands on learning. My daughter hated to go to school, hated her teacher and it just was not the experience that I wanted for her.
Thank goodness I found TotSpot. I drove 25 minutes away just to take her to this school. She loved to learn and the teachers do a great job of giving her options, a mix of activities and different ways of learning. They let the kids thrive on what works for them and mix play, art, music and education beautifully. My daughter is now 7 and is thriving at her school in 2nd grade.
Now my youngest daughter attends TotSpot and has been since she was 2. We are having the same wonderful experience. I have loved every teacher at the school (so far they each had different teachers) and have always felt like they love what they do and enjoy watching the kids grow and learn. It puts a huge smile on my face every day that I pick up my daughter and she can't wait to open her backpack and show me what she has learned and done for the day.
I noticed a less than 5 star review for this school and it shocked me at first because of how happy we are with TotSpot. But then I realized that, that parent was like me and the school wasn't the right experience for her child. As a parent you know your child best and should always follow your gut. I did at the previous preschool that didn't work out, but I would have never left them a bad review. The school was a good school, it just didn't work out for us.
My children blossom when given the right mix of education, play, fun and hands on learning. TotSpot has the staff and curriculum that if a perfect fit for us."^^ .
