First, the good:\n\n- The food was tasty (though not perfect...ravioli appetizers were pretty bland...but the pork bellies were fantastic and plentiful).\n- The decor is modern and chic. Definitely a place to go to be seen.\n- The kitchen is open and looks clean and efficient. Always a nice touch.\n- The wait staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and, for the most part, prompt.\n\nThe Bad:\n- When we arrived, no one was there to greet us. We waited for a few minutes before I walked most of the way into the restaurant to find the hostess. Only then were we seated.\n- The atmosphere is a bit too noisy for intimate conversations, but certainly consistent with the vibrant scene.\n- Some restaurants have the annoying habit of taking the wine away in between pours. This is one of those places. Not a deal breaker, but pretty annoying.\n\nSome more about the food:\n- The tandor lamb was tasty and a nice portion. Not too big, not too small.\n- The flank steak was juicy and prepared as ordered (rare).\n- The carrot cake was delicious (not too sweet).\n\nOverall, this is a great addition to the Pittsburgh restaurant scene, but the kitchen and the staff need to work out a few kinks.\n\nWould I go again? Sure, but only if someone else were paying!"^^ .
