"I have gone there several times. Every single technician has outrageously colored hair in a shade of green, blue, hot pink, purple. They are all ladened with nose rings, multiple lip rings, and multiple ear piercings and tattoos. Previously I have had my nails, hair, make-up done. All the services were just mediocre at best. I purchased a gift card for my mother when they were running a sale special so I thought I would try it again. My mom booked an appointment for a manicure and pedicure. I took her there in which was the worst experience of my moms life. I will never go back there again. We arrived on time and waited over 40 minutes. The receptionist apologized and said they had a fire drill earlier that morning and it threw them all off schedule for the entire day. Ok - I guess they have never heard of a telephone where you can practice good customer service and call your clients and explain they are running behind before they actually get there. My Mom goes to the back of the salon area sitting right next to and extremely uncomfortably close to several other customers. She waits another 5 minutes until a very nervous girl comes and soaks her feet. My mom has a very small area about the size of a half of a dollar bill with some hyper-pigmentation on one leg and also some slight swelling of her feet due to her heart. My mom's nails are clean and fungus free. They leave her sitting there for at least 20 minutes, then a girl comes back and tells her she is not able to receive a shellac polish which she booked because the girl who is helping her is not trained in shellac yet. Then she disappears once again another 5 minutes and comes back with her manager who proceeds to ask my mother multiple questions about her feet and health. She says she can not have her student do a manicure on my mother because of my mom's health conditions. My mom carefully explained to her that she has no health conditions and that the hyper-pigmentation is a result of an injury and not contagious. She told them that she gets pedicures regularly from several different places and never has been a problem. The manager argues with my mother now indicating there is something wrong with my mothers hygiene and every other customer in the room is now staring at my mother. She said she would take her for her manicure and sits my mom in the area by the shampoo girls to wait. At this time my mom is so embarrassed after sitting there a few minutes alone she got up and left. My mother comes out crying and explains the entire ordeal. At the front desk in front of 20 or more customers i ask quietly for a refund of my gift card which i am told i can not have. She offers to let me use the gift card to purchase products. I ask to speak to a manager. I explain the entire situation to the manager who proceeds to lecture me in a loud voice so all can hear about their safety and health regulations. I asked her several times to stop and be quiet in a very quiet voice because my mom is embarrassed and 20 or more people are now staring at my mother and I. But the manager continues to go on and on. My mom is crying. Yes i think i am being discriminated upon and bullied and embarrassed. I ask to speak to the regional manager and i called her twice and she never returned the calls. The place is crowded and not so clean and the little bit you save because you are dealing with students is not worth the wait for appointments nor the rudeness and aggravation. First time I ever went to a beauty salon for two hours and never received any service. I only gave one star because I could not give zero stars."^^ . . "2"^^ . "1"^^ . "2016-01-07T00:00:00"^^ .
