He let me know that there are possible complications with the surgery (brain damage), but failed to mention he may damage the structure of my nose and change its appearance for the WORSE!\n\nThe surgery was not supposed to visually change the shape of my nose in any way (I felt fortunate that I really liked my nose!). Instead, the bridge of my nose lost its shape and I now have to get routine injections to try and rebuild the bridge and restore the shape. Dr. Raines acknowledged the change in appearance, but refused to be of any help with the situation, stating that \"many people would still be happy with the shape\".\n\nI would not recommend Dr. John Raines to anyone. I fully understand that outcomes can't be guaranteed in the medical world, but the way a doctor handles a situation when he is clearly the cause of unexpected and truly upsetting damage strongly reflects his overall character and in my opinion, his competency as a professional."^^ .
