This is my story.\n\nCONS:\n\n- Mgmt had NO problem renting you an apartment that has major stains on the carpet. Since I rented sight unseen, they originally assigned me an apartment that looked like someone had been murderized in the living room. (January 2015, unit #2038; I received pictures. TG!!!) I complained, and they relented. #unprofessional\n\n- Do not complain to the office, for they will only care if it affects their property.\n\n- The entry/exit gates were NOT always closed after hours, so anyone could just drive in and wreak havoc. And do NOT get me started on the pedestrian gate. Okay... that thing has been busted for YEARS!\n\n- The 24hr tow company is UNavailable between 12a-6a. So I was sh_t outta luck whenever I wanted someone towed out of my RESERVED spot, which was often. Additionally, mgmt refused to put up signage. #worthlesspeople\n\n- Mgmt clearly did not care about security, so those entry/exit gates were there for WHAT purpose?!?\n\n- Landscapers: those beezies will start at 6:30a. Can you say illegal? (P.S. I am referring to the start time. and nothing more) \n\n- You will FREQUENTLY lose access to running water. Mgmt will conveniently shut it off on a Friday because NV state law says weekends do not count where remediation is concerned. #noteventhestatecaresaboutyou\n\n- Be prepared to have a high heat/AC bill because the sills on the windows and doors are in REALLY poor condition. Meaning, all of your money is going to go out those cracks. Mgmt claims they cannot do anything about this problem. #morelaziness\n\n- I never used my dishwasher because the fridge prevented the door from opening all the way. Basically, I had to open the fridge to use it, which is why I did not. I would rather keep my food fresh and cool and hand-wash than spoil the food in order to use the dishwasher. #moronicdesigners\n\n- Openings (aka holes and cracks) in the cabinets allowed roaches to just come in... and be all up in my business. And it did not matter how clean I kept my place; those beezies kept coming in and not paying rent.\n\n- The pool behind buildings 36 & 37 was closed for several months with no notice as to why. 110 degrees outside and one could not take a cool dip. The only pool mgmt has ever cared about is the one by the office.\n\n- The 24hr gym access was NOT always available, and no notice was ever sent to those who dropped $50 for said access. PLUS... it is NOT monitored, even though, there is signage stating otherwise. Most of the cardio equipment was old and broken with yellow tape around it. Parts to equipment were always going missing, and the dumbo office staff never had a clue as to their whereabouts. The dumbo mgr actually told me that she never went in there. #theyjustdontgetit\n\n- The office staff were incompetent, habitual liars. (If you had not already figured that out.) Basically, do not expect a truthful answer at any time from any of them. Not even from the folks at corporate. Especially, Omar... who is the worst of them all!\n\nThe ofc staff tells prospects about the tennis courts, 3 pools, and tanning beds, but what they do not share is the fact that 90% of those amenities have been closed for 3-8 YEARS! #shadyisasshadydoes\n\n- I mailed my move-out letter on 7/12, went into the office to surrender my keys on 8/29 and the dumbo manager claimed she never received the letter. #notmyproblem #sheisalwaysclueless\n\n- There have been times when I made a maintenance request, to more than one person, and was told they didn't have anything on file. Plus, their after-hours emergency number was worthless. Maintenance will only come during normal hours... and will lie about the service contacting them if after-hours. \"I didn't get no call\" is what I was once told... when the service had called him 3 times.\n\n- Mgmt and maintenance will not wear protective footing whenever they entered ANY apartment, which is why I always had some plastic shopping bags handy. I was not about to let them drag all kinds of dirt and trash into my apartment. #theyisnastyAF\n\n- The water heater is TOO small for the ginormous tub you get. That beezy is 80-gallons, so by the time it is BARELY half full.... the hot water is \"gone with the wind\".\n\n- It took over TWO years to get the sliding closet doors in the 2nd bedroom fixed!\n\n- Be prepared to live near a pedophile. Tons of children live on the property... yet mgmt doth not careth! \n\n- Mgmt will keep as much of your security deposit as possible even that $50 gym key deposit. #shadyAF \n\n- The office does not check credit. So, that sign out front yakking about $150 deposit on O.A.C. is BS!!! ANYONE can get approved. Gotta a job? Welcome home!\n\n- Mgmt's photos are LIES!\n\nPRO:\n\n- I have paid a lot more in other states for the same sized apartment. \n\nIf you are in need of a place to live (even out of desperation)... go to another property!
